Practitioner Services carries out a wide range of support functions on behalf of the 15 NHS Boards in Scotland, and operates from 5 sites across Scotland in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Livingston.
Practitioner Services support the work of all NHS doctors, dentists, opticians and pharmacists. You may need to make use of some of these services as an NHS Patient and you can access information, as well as download a range of forms, by clicking on the appropriate icon above.
We have been working with stakeholders, customers and our staff to develop our strategy entitled Enabling Primary Care which sets out the strategic direction and its associated action plan for Practitioner Services through to the year 2015.
We provide a range of services to Primary Care contractors, all of which enable patient care.
