Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 provides individuals with the legal rights to see information from Scottish public authorities or from other organisations who provide services for them.

Practitioner Services are part of NHS National Services Scotland (NHS NSS).  NHS National Services Scotland (NHS NSS) as a Scottish public authority is committed to openness and transparency in the provision of information to the public.  NHS NSS has produced a Publication Scheme, as required under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, which is a guide to the information routinely published by NHS National Services Scotland.  The NHS NSS publications scheme is available online on the NHS NSS Freedom of Information web pages.  It should be noted that a large amount of information held by NSS contains personal or sensitive information and may, in line with legislation, be exempt from disclosure. However, NSS will endeavor to release as much information as it can while keeping within legislative constraints.

If the publication scheme does not contain the information you require, please complete an Information Release Request Form and send it to our Freedom of Information Co-ordinator, details below:
