All claim forms you submit are scanned to provide an electronic copy of claims received.
Our system uses Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) technology to read the information on the forms. Occasionally, an operator will have to amend or complete fields which could not be read electronically.
The forms then go through our payments system, MIDAS, which validates each claim against the rules laid out in the
Statement of Dental Remuneration.
From this, the payments are calculated and made to you.
