What is Clinical Audit Allowance?

Clinical audit activities are approved as projects by NHS Education for Scotland.  The Statement of Dental Remuneration refers to activities involving “systematic and critical analysis of the quality of dental care provided, including processes used for diagnosis, intervention and treatment of resources."

How do I claim for Clinical Audit Allowance?

You can obtain the GP217 claim form from your local NHS Board.

1) Name on a dental list;
2) first project undertaken is one of not less than 5 hours; and
