What are broadcast messages?

Broadcast messages are notifications, sent out each month, of schedule closing dates. We also send broadcast messages to notify practices of other urgent news. If you have not received notification of a schedule closing, contact our Helpdesk (stating your Location Number) to determine if a message was successfully delivered.

What if my practice is not receiving file acknowledgments?

Contact our Helpdesk and they will be able to check to see if the file has been accepted or rejected.

What should I do if I have a system error?

Contact our Helpdesk, who will put you in contact with the Business Systems Solutions team. Have your Location Number to hand, along with a breakdown of the issue. The Business Systems Solutions team will be able to identify if the problem is with our systems or with your practice system, in which case you may be advised to contact your software supplier.

What is an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Personal Identification Number (PIN)?

The EDI PIN number is your electronic signature, it identifies the dentist making the claim. Your EDI PIN number is non-transferable.

How do I request a Personal Identification Number (PIN)?

A PIN number can be requested by filling in the form in the Starter Pack. It is issued as soon as the request is received. Your PIN number will be sent to you through the post.

If you do not receive your PIN, contact our Helpdesk to check if a PIN has been issued.

How do I enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) into my system?

To enter your PIN into your system you will need to contact your software supplier.

What do I do if I have forgotten my Personal Identification Number (PIN)?

A new one can be requested from our Helpdesk. The PIN cannot be given out over the telephone or via e-mail.

A PIN number is required for each List Number.
