Practice Administration

If you are a new dentist wishing to provide general dental services, you must contact the NHS Board of the area you wish to work in, as you require to join their list.

You must register with every NHS Board where you intend to perform general dental services, prior to commencing work.

Failure to comply with this means that no payment can be made for any work undertaken.

Counter signing is not allowed.

All registration forms are provided by NHS Boards.

The List Number issued is for use at only one location. You need a different list number for each location you carry out NHS treatment.

We maintain a database of dentists on NHS Board dental lists, making any Change in Dentist Details requested by the NHS Board.

In order to make a claim you will be required to complete the claims form and to help you with this, we have included a section for Tips on Form Filling.
