Vocational Training Allowance

What is Vocational Training Allowance?

The purpose of this allowance is to encourage practices to take on vocational trainee dentists and become a vocational training practice.

How do I claim for Vocational Training Allowance?

The dentist must be registered as a trainer with NHS Education for Scotland, who provide us with the relevant details to enable payment to be included in the monthly schedule. A single payment is made annually, in the Autumn.
