Practitioner Services (Medical) is responsible for ensuring that the information recorded on the Community Health Index (CHI) is accurate and up to date.
The Data Quality teams at each regional office provide a range of data quality services, ensuring high quality, timely and complete patient data is available on the Community Health Index (CHI) to support patient care.
These services include co-ordinating the accurate extraction and release of CHI data to appropriate professional bodies ensuring that Data Protection Act (DPA) and National Services Scotland (NSS) confidentiality guidelines are adhered to.
