New Medical Customer Services section launched

The Medical Customer Services section was launched today.

This new section of our website contains the following information that should prove useful to our medical professional customers:

Contacts List
This page provides links to telephone numbers for key regional office staff. These are currently listed by regional office and job title, however we are working on an alternative presentation style that should improve how you identify the right person to contact with your queries.

Customer Satisfaction Surveys
This area will be expanded to provide information on our annual customer satisfaction survey including: key dates; a link to the live survey; action plans and a selection of your comments.

Practice visits
From time to time we are asked to visit GP Practices to offer advice and share best practise.

A-Z of services
In response to comments received in the 2008 customer survey, we are currently working on a directory of medical services. This should make it easier for you to make contact with the most appropriate members of staff who can help with your enquiries.

Local information and events in your area
We appreciate that there are times when we may need to communicate with practices in only one or two NHS Board areas and that this isn't always possible through the GP Practice newsletter.

We have created dedicated areas, aligned to your host NHS Board, and will upload specific information to that area.

We also host awareness sessions and workshops that contribute to your protected learning time.
