Every registered practitioner will be allocated one Personal List Number.
This can be used in any area in Scotland, however, you must register with each NHS Board you practice under.
The Personal List Number must be entered on all claims made.
Each practice is issued with a Payment Location Number.
The Payment Location Number must be entered on all claims submitted as well as the practice stamp.
It is important that both the Personal and Payment Location Numbers are printed clearly to avoid incorrect payments.
We allocate these numbers on request from the NHS Board.
