We will be implementing changes to our ophthalmic payment systems; the development is designed to improve the character recognition of scanned forms and increase accuracy of matching general ophthalmic service claims to patient history.
This will reduce processing errors to a level that allows us to return all claims that fail our system validation.
This will start from April 2012 and will coincide with the changes to the way return to contractor letters are sent.
