Practitioner Services are happy to provide dispensing contractors with copies of prescriptions submitted for processing.
General Practitioners wishing to track prescription forms sent electronically can contact the ePharmacy Helpdesk on 0131 275 6600, providing the UPN (barcode) number, which will allow the Helpdesk to confirm if it has been claimed by a Community Pharmacy.
To obtain a copy of a prescription please complete and sign a prescription retrieval request form.
Unfortunately, as Practitioner Services does not have a dedicated resource to carry out this function, we would appreciate your patience whilst we endeavour to get the requested information to you as soon as feasibly possible.
N.B. original prescriptions cannot be returned to dispensing contractors.
