Stoma Service Contract

The current arrangements for provision of stoma appliances commenced in July 2011.

Scottish Government carried out a consultation on the new arrangements and has, after extensive discussions, set out the new parameters.

The SPECIFICATION OF REQUIREMENTS for the DISPENSING AND SUPPLY OF STOMA APPLIANCES TO PATIENTS IN THE COMMUNITY FOR NHS SCOTLAND has been prepared by NHS Procurement.

The document outlines the new fee scale and how fees should be claimed. Please read the document carefully and if you want to stay on the list of stoma suppliers or join it for the first time then complete the form at Appendix 1 and return it to your NHS Board.
